We are a small industrial reality that, from the beginning, wanted to stand out in the world of coffee producers with its own brand and a system of square capsules to serve excellent quality coffee. After a long period of research, experimentation and engineering, we are finally able to present the 100% compostable Caffè d'Italia® capsule, produced entirely with plant materials and, moreover, ethical because it does not take land away from the cultivation of food for humans and animals. We consider this to be the greatest novelty that a company like ours can present on a market where we believe that the theme of ecology will increasingly be a source of differentiation and an asset for those who manage to demonstrate their commitment to keeping this world cleaner. Terraria® is the Caffè d'Italia® capsule, good for the environment and with the same quality as usual. Ethical because it is designed with specific plant materials that are not removed from food use. Its end-of-life disposal in the selective collection of organic waste makes it a unique product of its kind.
A CERTIFIED GUARANTEE. Terraria® capsules, compliant with the European standard UNI EN 13432, are certified OK BIOBASED by the Belgian organization Vinçotte, which guarantees their compostability in industrial composting plants.

The Terraria® capsule, which can be immediately disposed of with organic waste and then in special composting plants, is completely recovered thanks to industrial biological treatment processes: the high temperatures (50°-55°) and the controlled conditions to which the material is subjected, which are not possible in domestic composting, allow a correct biodegradation process , so that in 6 months we obtain Compost , that is, an excellent and completely ecological natural fertilizer.
